Perplexing Bell Flower of Mu Lung

I noticed this when Mu Lung was released, and always thought there was a story behind it. I got bored of the quests, so I never found out.
Anyways... on to the point. The fabled Suicide Bellflower of Mu Lung. People don't believe it until they see it, but yes. This Bellflower, for whatever reason or myth it has behind it, suicides before your very eyes.

Some things, if you do go to see it, you'll notice it doesn't just walk into it by accident. It clearly stops before the fall, jumps up and down for a bit as if it's prepping for a dive, then leaps. If you're wondering what house that is, it's the potion shop. Heheh, I've always found this Bellflower amusing. It won't ever be as mythic as Bob the Snail was years ago, but it is fun to wonder what exactly it's doing.

--One will appear every five minutes(?). Or you can go into FM, and come out, to see it. You can also set your Graphics Quality to lowest, then to highest to reset the Bellflower.

Any ideas on what the official name of this Bellflower is or should be?

EDIT: I think Soup or Tea are also cool names for him/her.

Those b4stard pandas, they tricked it into suiciding by telling it that was how you get enlightenment.

I think it's a blind bellflower, because it's got red/bloody stains where its eyes are supposed to be. That might be why it's killing itself.
