I swear I almost cried when I saw this video.

Dude.. this game looks so Vesperia like, and look at ToS2, it's total crap! This game looks pineappleing great! This is the so called mothership title namco planned for the wii after ToS2, and if this doesn't come to Europe, I swear to god I will mod my Wii to hell.

I tried putting caps but it uncapped it because of the filters. And I was too lazy to put anything else in.

Bad voice acting, messy plot, useless additions (Monster system, you get every old ToS player(besides Kratos) back in your party, and monsters don't even come close in terms of strenght), they fucked up Unison attack, made it worse, Hi-ougis/mystic arte's are crap, bad overall graphics, ABSOLUTE lack of cutscenes. I think there's a few more but that's enough right?

TOS2 only sucks because of Emil.

You can fault it for a lot of things, but if Emil wasnt such a bad character, you know the game would at least be adequate.

Anyway this looks pineappleing great. Do want.

If by "don't even come close in terms of strength" you mean "completely demolish the original cast on higher difficulties" then I agree.

I mean when they're your allies. The original cast are much better allies and are more usefull, atleast that's the impresion it gives me.

Shouldn't you wait until you actually play it before making a statement like that? :/

I'm sure if you took a ToV battle scene, slowed it down and went into a close up of a character, it would look just as "impressive".

Or maybe we have a difference in preferences with graphic styles. Regardless, I think this game looks great as well.

I never made a factual statement, I said it 'looks' better, I never said it is better. :| I prefer TotA's graphics over ToV's to be honest, but I prefer ToV's battle system a lot more. <_< If that helps at all.

The original cast caps at level 50, have unmodifiable equipment, and have fairly low stats across the board, while the monsters cap at 100/200, some of which easily able to max their attacking power (one of my dragon-type monsters hit 9999 P.Attack at level 60-ish while Lloyd only caps at ~1200), and can learn pretty much any spell in the game, for the casters.

The only thing redeeming the original cast are their Mystic Artes, but Emil/Marta can both reach 200 as well...

Though, there's one thing I'll point out - unlike the original Symphonia, there's not a lot of replayability; while you can access an optional (if stupidly long) dungeon and an extended scene only in the second playthrough or up, that's about it. You can pretty much hit every side quest in a single playthrough , and there's no decisions that affect the ending to a large degree. (The 'best' ending only has two short scenes above the 'normal' ending. whoo.)
