Medals!

Wow im asking a lot of questions lately. lol, sorry for that I guess.



Anyway, Medals, I know they're obtained through achieving certain goals, but does anyone have like a list of which ones exist and how they are obtained and their stats?

I know theres ones for doing a lot of quests and stuff, but what others is there?

There is one for earning an 'S' PQ rank in 5 or more PQ's.
There is one for earning 1000 fame within 1 month.
There is one for completing 1000 Quests.
There is one for for defeating 100000 monsters within 1 month that are of a higher level than you.
There is one for making a donation.

I'm pretty sure I forgot some others as well... Most higher level people are screwed cause they can never gain 5 PQ ranks at all, or kill 100k monsters within 1 month that are higher leveld than them. There were some others as well that higher levels would never be able to do.

It's 800 quests, and the donation one requires that you have donated the MOST in that particular town. So there are only as many donation medals as there are towns with Medal guys. Naturally some jerk is gonna go donated 2.1bil on the first day and have it. >_>

So every town has its own unique donation medal? And how much do u have to donate to get a medal?

yes, but they're all the same. So there is a medal for each town but you couldn't necessarily tell which town it was by looking. Also I don't think towns like Omega have them, just "main towns". you just have to have the most, so the cost will go up exponentially >_>

Seems tough, I probably have the quest one down since as you said it counts subquests of quests, so yeah.

What are the stats on the quest medal if I may ask?

Also if you just need the top donator slot, couldnt one person donate 1 meso, get it, then you donate two and you get it as well, and so on forever untill 2.1b

Yes, if you prepatched for example and logged in fast, you could potentially donate say 100 mesos and get it quickly. You'd have it taken from you almost immediately, but you could have it for a while.

That particular Medal is a major money sink. I dont know why anyone would be silly enough to blow meso on it. lol

A new equip in other versions (kMS only? I dont know.) That is obtained by doing very hard to achieve things, but often the have stats and such, dont confuse them with pendants though. Some of the things to get certain medals were listed earlier in the thread.

Theres also a Horntail Slayer Medal AND A 'PINK BEEN' SLAYER MEDAL.

The quest Medal is STR/DEX/INT/LUK +2, 10 Avoid, and 10 Jump

Also, regarding the Donation medals, if someone donates more than you in the town, you donated in, do you lose the medal?

Oh wow, I can see people buying PB runs just to get themselves a medal once he reaches farm status (and he will).

The Nautilus medal is nice, 10 str 10 dex 50 hp =O

I'm thinking the PB Medal is only given to the person that first slays PB, but i'm not totally sure about that.

Same goes with the HT medal, but we'll see.

If so thats rather disappointing, then the only medal that EVERYONE can get that isnt unique/only a few of them is the quest one thus far o_o.

Unless its like the first person to do 800 quests, if so medals are way too difficult to get, lol.

TO get the HT medal you need to kill HT 30 times

To get the PB medal, you need to kill PB 15 times.

Heres ALL the requirements for every medal.

Kill 100,000 monsters above your level.
Kill every boss.
Kill Zakum 70 times.
Kill Papulatus 70 times.
Kill Horntail 30 times.
Kill Pink Bean 15 times.

Complete 800 quests.
Complete 300 Party Quests.
Participate in over 15 GM Events.
Complete 100 Bounty Quests.

Collect over 1,000,000 items.
Have over 1,000,000,000 mesos.
Drink 100,000 potions.
Refine over 5,000 ores.

Reach 3rd job.
Reach 4th job.
Reach level 170.

Talked over 20,000 lines.
Have 100 members in your guild.
Logged in over 2,000 times.

And the CPQ2 medals, which I need to find again.

Wow, that's actually really neat. I didn't know about most of those last ones. Not too enthusiastic about 1billion mesos or 100 members in the guild but the others are nice additions. Should be funny to to get medals for talking too much and using lots of potions XD

wow, it looks like i can already get almost half of the medals right now... does it count backwards (e.g. if i already logged in 2000 times before the medals came out, will i get one as soon as i log in?)

I can imagine the spamming in FM paying off now, lol.

Reaching 3rd job and 4th job is easy enough though. I wonder if it works the same way for Cygnus characters?
