I have a problem with transferring, and since I'm an idiot and need help, I decided to consult SouthPerry.
So, I'm running Windows Vista and have an iPod Touch. We have a desktop downstairs running Windows XP. I got some MP3s from my friends and websites and such (I'm a bad person!) and added them to the iTunes library and to my iPod Touch on the desktop. Since it's running out of hard drive space, I decided to take all my songs and transfer them to my computer with Vista that still has over 100 GB left. So I read some tutorials online, and basically what they said to do was go into the iPod's drive, copy the music, put it in a folder, add the folder to iTunes. Of course, silly me, don't be so stupid! However, when I connected my iPod to the computer, it showed up as a camera (because it had pictures saved on it). In the folders inside of the iPod's drive, there were only pictures (yes, I set it to view hidden folders too). So I deleted all my pictures (didn't need them anyway) and reconnected. this time, although it connected to iTunes, the iPod wouldn't show up in My Computer, as if it wasn't connected. I downloaded a iPod to iTunes file transferrers, but they all said my iPod wasn't connected. I tried reconnecting it and everything.
tl;dr: My iPod doesn't show up in the My Computer folder thing unless it has pictures on it, but if it has pictures on it I can't view music or anything else. Any help would be appreciated, and keep the comments about my IQ to a minimum, thanks.
