North American Dragon Nest Service Shutdown

Nexon America will shut down the North American service of Dragon Nest on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 8:00 AM Pacific (11:00 AM Eastern). The current Dragon Nest official website will be redirected to Eyedentity’s new Dragon Nest official site at that time. The current Dragon Nest official website, forums, Customer Support portal, and social websites managed by Nexon America will be closed on Thursday, October 27, 2016.

Publishing rights will be transferred to the game’s developer Eyedentity Games. Today (Monday, September 26) is the last day that you can agree to have your account data transferred to Eyedentity Games using the in-game notice.

Man Nexon just keeps losing publisher rights to the actual game developers. First it was DFO, now it's this.

i'm perfectly fine with this, fucking nexon didn't let me play in the NA servers, hopefully i can with eyedentity, regardless of what their ToS says.

it's been a long long time, but now, ding dong the witch is dead, and shinku is FINALLY able to log back in!

to put it in simple terms:
level 1-90 seem to be abso-pineappleing-lutely irrelevant, the real game starts at 90, maybe 80 since that's red dragon gear. really, the game is n-brains until then, it's actually kinda disgusting, most of the dragons became story bosses and if you die to them you had to actively try to die
you level stupidly fast, been doing only the main storyline since supposedly random quest rewards get changed to a very rare and needed item if you get to max level (garnet lustres, used for enhancing everything
enhancement isn't the cash grab it once was, now items have huge base stats, and low enhancement increases, except for RDN i think.

My highest level was a newly advanced Gladiator and I can remember leveling him up to that point was kinda tedious, so we talking a massive exp cut or is it like DFO style leveling? Just do it and forget it? wish we could rest skills for free however.

iff you do the story quests and only the story quests, you'll outlevel the quests, experience is a non-issue, think level 1-100 in maple. i'm level 66, on a new char after a week and i've been dealing with a lot of random black screens.

you get a level up box that gives you a few reset scrolls so you should be fine.
