Maplestory "High Five" Private Showcase

Nexon posted an invitation to the new event, which will take place on the 26th of June, 150 people will be able to participate.

Considering how big of a patch this would be, I don't think we will get it in the same way we always get Holyday patches. I got a hunch this will be released the same way the first reworks were, a job branch at a time with a month's timepsawn separating them.

Please lord, don't let this be a mere damage boost to all jobs.

I walk to the closet and from the back, I pull out my old, but reliable laptop (MapleStory has huge compatibility issues with Windows OS X 99, but works surprisingly well with Windows 10). My grandchildren look upon it with reverence as I boot it up, wondering what manner of primitive technology I present to them today. After hanging for 10 minutes on Base.wz, I decide to re-download the installer, which in this age, is just like, a guy who travels through the internet (not the one you're thinking of) with floppy disks (also not the ones you're thinking of) and installs software for you (it's a dying occupation, but the few remaining are all masters of their craft). After I send the installer on his way, I boot the game and I'm greeted with a familiar login screen, on v5.55. I can't help but hum the background music as my eyes begin to water. I wipe the tears away and stare blankly into my webcam (they switched to facial recognition somewhere in the v2.00s) and select Windia, and just like that, all my characters are there, just the way I left them. I click on my Paladin, watching him walk in place for a moment before entering the game. Atop my character's head, a lightbulb flashes, I click on it and begin my journey to 5th job. Okay, it auto-advanced me. Let's check out the new skills. Oh, they just moved Hyper Skills into a job advancement. Well, that kinda sucks. Oh well.
