A glacier from the cold war that has still not melted
#1
let me ask the moderator here a question? Did all members of the Animal Kingdom (and that also includes us, humans) originated from a single-celled organism??? Being a member or categorized in the Animal Kingdom, are we also an animal? to make the question short, are humans animals? that is the question that we are trying to raise.
The world has changed so much in just a short decades. We have witnessed the greatest phenomenon in the history of human race, the second world war. We have raped the natives of Okinawa, we have tried to quantumized the jews, all to change the course of history. but to raise awareness here, and I am not talking about cancer research, I am talking about the greater cancer that is eating away our society and that when nothing is done about it, we are going to vanish just like the wind. We should learn from the tragics of the past and embrace a new tomorrow, free from this uncertainty.

When we play games like Call of Duty, Red Alert, Battlefield and to watching movies like 300, troy, saving private ryan, trophic thunder, letters to iwo jima, what is the message of the movie? are we simply generalizing race? why do we have to antagonize a race in video games or a movie??
there are 9 series of call of duty already, starting from cod 1 to the newest cod: future warfare. all i saw in that franchise is about the cold war and future results of the cold war kind of fiction. The whole point of the entire series of call of duty is to play as an american and kill the russian villains. Is call of duty all about russia??? seriously??? that is just racist!!! the cold war has already ended, soviet union already dissolved into a grain of salt, russia became a federation, and we still have this cold war mentality. russia will always be the enemy and thus we just had to portray this in every american video game and movies.

the glacier from the cold war still had not melted and we still hold that cold deep in every american's heart. when are we gonna learn how to be warm towards others?? is this the result of the "cold" war?? are we always gonna be "cold" people? russia has already became warm?? why cant we be like them and learn how to settle our differences???
