Friend?

I almost stepped on him by accident. Glad I didn't.

Uh... downsize the image pls. I know you're going for shock factor but that's still a bit too screen stretchy.

Actually that was just the natural image size. I can spoilerize it though.

Aw so cute and I didn't know they could be that small(although it could be a totally different race), I always see spiders that look like that about 10 times bigger than that one(around the size of the palm of a hand).

Although no spider can beat the jumping spider cuteness.

I found a friend in my shoe about a week ago too, except it was a long furry caterpillar.

You should use the [imgsize] tag rather than [img]
ex: [imgsize=400]http://i.imgur.com/holyfuckaspider.png[\imgsize]

Nah, I'm good. I like the larger image size (the better to see how cute the spider is!), and closing the spoiler keeps the page from stretching.

Great, I need to treat spoiler tags with much more caution now... You've betrayed my trust(, that I didn't even realise you had)!

The spider doesn't look scary, but that's probably just because it's a picture, thousands of km away from me... :c

I'm glad it's not a gif. Moving spiders (AKA a vast majority that could be anywhere DSmile are terrifying to me.

reminds me of a time when some men were gonna roll over this uh piece of equipment and I was like you sure you wanna use your bare hands? They looked at me funny , but they flipped it over with a stick and lo and behold there were like 25 black widows under it. They were quite happy they took my advice.

Don't you live in Australia? Land of giant and horrifying monster insects/bugs/arachnids?

I do, but the majority I face off with in the good ol' metropolitan area are small. O-or should I say, gigantic and massive and you should see the potency in our bug sprays ohohoho?

The insects are pretty scary to me, but all of our native wildlife here are pretty dangerous to us. Keyword is native; rabbits are adorable when I see them, even if they're pests > w <

My rule of thumb: I leave spiders alone, especially if they're tiny and/or jumping spiders.

BUT.

If a spider's body gets bigger than my finger nail, it dies.
If it's especially white or black, it dies. Inb4 racist to spiders.
If it's in my bathtub, it dies.

I may be merciful sometimes, and put it into a cup so I can move it to the back of my yard where it can grow up in peace.
