Permanently Banned... Along with Many Others

I was just finishing up Murgoth's Dungeon, exited outside to Henesys and changed channels. I was then suddenly disconnected and met with a permanent ban notice when trying to relog.

Seems like it's happening all over. I'm seeing many threads on Basil about this.

Looks to be the oldest post on Basil concerning this.

Happened to me, too, leaving a pot shop. Submitted a ticket just in case but there is obviously something wrong on Nexon's end.

I really hope this is just early preparation for the maintenance.

Seens to be, who never used hack and was getting sucess in the game, why use hacks??

My guild member just got perm banned playing Monsteropoly.

I was having the best conversation with my alliance about our guild leader coming back
for the summer, then I dced... So since my game launcher doesn't seem to want to work
i log via the website and i kept dcing and i remember this happening on my friends account
before he got banned. Needless to say this is stupid the system is going haywire...

These flase bans go on your record and it's stupid

I was walking through the free market wondering where everyone was, and I guess now I know.

They got me too... Was just about to finish a Monsteropoly game and -BAM- D/C then the dreaded blue message.

Was shocked for a few seconds, as this is my first ever ban. Been playing the same account (my only account) since '07.

Curious as to what the problem is... Hoping it's just a Nexon issue and not something worse...

Nexon forums are blowing the hell up over this as well. I almost feel like this has something do with the recently released EXP exploit.

Well, at least they know it's happening. If they can't repair things, I'm sure they'll try and say their bans weren't false ones at all, and I'm sure Nexon's Defense League will be there, lube at the ready, to back the company's decision.

Probably because this happened less than three weeks ago. Of course the circumstances are different, but the result was the same.

I think this is a good time for many of us to just quit right here, I for one am done with these shenanigans.

I had assumed it was early preparation to resolve the exp exploit but apparently that isn't the case. What the pineapple went wrong to mistakingly ban that many players?
