"Emmigrants"
#1
The question is a simple one. "Do you think emmigrants should still be labeled as immigrants when they return to their home server?"

Just asking for sake of opinion, because the stupid immy tag on the ranks annoys the pineapple out of me now that I am back in windia. Tongue

Yes, because it indicates that you have interacted with another server by means other than MTS at some point in time, which means that you might have possibly gained an advantage over a native by using emptier training maps, easier-to-find spawning bosses, server-to-server economic differences (though using a mule avoids this), etc. By the way, it's spelled "emigrant."

Is it really that serious?

Exactly, noone cares if you're tagged "Immigrant" :f6:

It can be annoying for the person who immigrated though. Kind of like a Maple island quest stuck in your "In Progress" tab in your quest log.

God I know how that feels. Damn you, Mai's Training!

I agree with Cyanne. I lvled my character in Yollande, having 3 weeks of 4x. Then I went to Khaini, and was higher lvl than a lot of the people there. It's still legit, but Khaini doesn't have 4x like that.

The way Mai talks to you when you meet her, "Think of challenging me? Keep dreaming!" I sorta wonder what lvl you have to be to kick her ass.

This basically sums up why the immigrant tag stays. Who's to say you didn't benefit from the foreign server? Surely the reason you went to the foreign server wasn't because you didn't like it or wanted something in it...

You don't wonder what lvl you have to be to kick her ass, you have to wonder how you can challenge Mai at all. That's why she has bragging rights >_> She probably has GM immunity anyways since she claims to be a "worker" prepping all of the newbies on Maple Island.

Same with the mini-game NPC in Henesys' Game Room.

26.

Seriously.

"Hey, here's a challenging job! go ahead and kill... 10 ORANGE MUSHROOMS"

I remember iT3d from Mardia immigrated, and then immigrated back to Mardia. They took the immigrant tag off him. But then there's Pteraghost, who immigrated to Bera and back to Mardia, but he still has the immigrant tag. So I don't get it. O_o
#11
maybe you lost the tag on your first character before they implemented the policy to keep it?
#12
I'd say the tag should stay. If you server change, then you get it.

As for Mai...any 30+ islander should be able to kill her in theory. 40+ for sure. NPCs just need to be made killable. I've also wanted Mai to become a "boss" on Maple Island, but I doubt that will happen. :/
#13
I think you should keep the tag. All servers are different. Some are better then others in some areas. You can easily take advantage of it.

I know this is slightly random, but I've always thought it would be funny if it happened: What if Immigrants, like traded Pokemon, gained boosted exp when they were in any server other than their original one? Nexon needs to jump on that idea! It worked wonders in the Pokemon games when you wanted to raise your team - think what it could do in MS. Haha

*kills Jr. Newtie*
You have gained a boosted (+3800)(+380) EXP

It would give a Nexon licence to print money.

iT3d never server transferred, you're probably thinking of his Night Lord, xT3d, which he transferred from Scania to Mardia, although I have no idea if it was originally Scanian or not. lol

They already print mesos by the billions, it's nothing new Rolleyes

But yeah that would let them sell a lot of world transfers. Now watch it actually happen now that it's suggested, lol.

Do you really want Bera to raided by Scanian knobs?

By the way, love the new avatar.
