In the game, Airy whose the fairy that leads the main protagonists through a journey to save the world, ends up being an agent for Ouroboros (aka the overarching villain). The pivotal turning point of the game is when Airy who appears the entire game as a docile fairy turns into a large hideous monster telling the heroes that they have been manipulated the entire time and wiping them out. I felt that the meme was an apt encapsulation of the game, hence the picture of Airy. Also the meme also serves as a type of adage to a lot of character motivations since many of the morally good characters are acting for the sake of an angel/fairy.
