Nexon HQ? How 'bout Asiasoft?
#1
I used to read comics on Basil and they kept mentioning Nexon HQ... Well, last Tuesday, i went to Suntec City (its really a huge shopping mall in Singapore) and went over to Asiasoft HQ. And wow, their so-called customer service is kinda great. There's this counter where a few employees were playing (i could see Cabal, Maple and a few more Excellent They were patching Maple at that time though) and there's this sign. U know when u see doctors and have to wait, u get a ticket? Then theres this display which shows the number that has to go in? Yeah. In AS HQ, u get a ticket and wait kinda like that, to file complaints or whatever. There wasnt anyone there when i went, though. To describe the HQ, theres a wall filled with cabinets of Maple plushies and those cut-outs (u cut them out and "assemble" them, if u get what i mean) Then theres this big TV advertising Asiasoft's games. Further on, theres a big room with glass walls... probably used as storeroom. I could see boxes with Korean words and pictures of Orange Mushies on 'em =p They're the leftovers from the Dec 26 event, i think... Anyway, further on, there are a few doors, probably leading to the GM's office or something...

Sorry, no pics, they didnt allow Frown

Just thought u guys would be interested.

I kinda remember a small description from a basiler that called NA HQ where it had stuff like that too. Excellent

Help desk employees playing MMOs sounds just like any branch that runs maple though. xD

Apparently game testers get lots of money a year. Round 100k. Course this is for big game companies like nintendo and microsoft. They were probably just playing because they had nothing else to do.

Actually
, game testing is a well-paid job. A friend of mine works at gameloft Argentina testing games and he's paid almost 2k per month.
What is a really nice thing since you get paid for practicing your most loved hobby, gaming. Not even counting that QA (quality assurance) offers lots of promotion opportunities... :/

I really hope that isn't a full time job.
2k a month is nothing if it is.

It's in argentina though. Might not be a lot to us, but it could be good for them.

I would imagine one reason to go would be to remove the Seal Lock from one of your items.

I would work there if I was in college and needed a job to pay for school.

2k a Month? Don't full time jobs usually pay like 4k a month. o.O

i have pretty much a full time job, i make $12/hr, i take home about $1500-$1800/month (after taxes and such) if i had 160 hrs per month i'd be making $1920 before taxes

i work in a kitchen so its not the most skilled or necessarily a higher paying job than any other entry level job but nexon's pay is pretty decent to start especially since i have to to do a hell of a lot more work for my money than they do....

oh and i live in Washington state where the cost of living is really high so i'm technically below poverty line currently (24K/yr is poverty line in my area)
