MapleStory disconnects my keyboard... constantly
#1
This is a problem that only occurs when any version of MapleStory is open.

For some reason, while I'm playing Maple, my keyboard keeps getting disconnected. It holds down/spams whatever key(s) I had held down while it disconnected itself and refuses to respond otherwise. The only way I can seem to fix this is to unplug it and plug it back in but then it happens again 30 seconds later.

Does anyone know what this issue is or maybe how to fix it? I've tried USB 2.0 and 3.0 slots (thinking Maple doesn't like 3.0), but it persists in both circumstances.

You have Japanese languages off yes? I remember having similar issues when playing JMS, but it was mostly that I couldn't input text in Maple, while being able to use my keyboard on other programs.

I tried disabling and re-enabling Japanese language settings and it still occurs.

MapleStory's anti-hack rootkit often doesn't play nice with registers.
I had a laptop that would occasionally have its fans turned off while running MapleStory. Very bad; triggered thermal events and emergency shutoffs.
