Well anything can entitle a lot of things, for example I am a fan of Yuri and I can recommend some Yuri anime but you might not be into that. If you give us something more specific it would be easier to recommend something you will like.

do you have any particular kinds you like? how about listing ones you've seen before that you liked. If you haven't seen Kannagi, I think you should watch that. It's a pretty funny comedy anime. Action animes...... i'd say go with Code Geass or Gurren Lagen. To-Love Ru is pretty funny too, but it's a bit ecchi.

two i can recommend is Coyote Ragtime Show, and the Gantz series.

Coyote is about a space pirate who is seeking the "king of pirates" treasure...thinking of it now, its kind of like a bit more mature version of One Piece, but in space @-a

Gantz is about a group of people friends who end up dieing, but are brought back to life to compete in a game of sorts killing aliens in order to free themselves from the game.

Sorry for the...bump, but now I am out of anime, for the most part.

Have watched Hayate no Gotoku, Rosario + Vampire, Maria+Holic, and thats all that stands out in my head.
Might watch Zero no Tsukaima tonight, but after that, I have nothing more to watch.
