Why is everything invisible?

I just used a prot and the message in chat shows but the icon on my weapon doesn't. Am i supposed to believe the game?

This is actually a bit terrifying.. I know it sounds tedious, but have you tried rebooting completely? The icon is suppose to/ and should appear. I know you know this, but.. this is like a controlled explosive that you know is supposed to go off, but for whatever reason it doesn't.. so now you're faced with a dilemma sorta-type deal..

I'm thinking if you reboot, maybe it was a graphical glitch, or something.. I'm sorry.
