Absolute Belt will become tradeable in a patch in December

The developers have decided to make the Absolute Belt will be made tradeable in a patch in December.

They didn't initially plan to do so, but they were moved by the player feedback.

Right. A patch is needed to make the change in this case.

This is the belt:


Event starts on the 13th. Belt needs to be upgraded 10 times between then and December 8th. Upgrading is done by killing 300 mobs of your level range.

Wow, it was really nice of them to make the belt tradeable, given how much the first two (or was it only one? I distinctly remember two, though) sucked since you couldn't trade them like the rings.

I think previous evolving belts also had unimpressive stats, so nobody cared much one way or the other.
This one is very nice, though, for any character you don't want to invest in endgame or cubed belts for.

too bad they can't make it slightly higher level. 50 might be good.
Considering to give the lvl 50 halloween hat some potential.

What's more of a shame is that the Update Notes don't even mention it's untradeable. If it weren't for people snooping through extractions, we wouldn't know to give the feedback in the first place.

Can't believe they required feedback from the populace to realize an untradeable, first tier belt was utter crap.

Are these really the same people that know how to line their pockets by withholding boss drops?

Sorta did that with the Absolute Ring too, but this time around I'm going to do my best to earn that belt if Nexon keeps their word.

It does show it's untradeable in the event window.

I missed the Absolute ring cause I was on vacation for some of 2 of the weeks :/ which is downside of one-time attendance events. I get that they do them to get people online but it'd be nice if say, you could substitute 2-3 later attendance checkins for one on-time checkin to earn old event stuff.

One thing to notice is that even though we have 4 weeks to upgrade the belt 10 times, the intermediate belts expire in 7 days each, so if you forget to do it for a week you have to start all over again.

huh, the event is lenient enough though, that's nice. i may actually bother logging in to get it then.

I upgraded my belt twice today.

I accepted todays quest on my Dawn Warrior at level 28, and I hadn't completed it by the time I got to level 31, at which point I got the level 31-50 quest as well. I completed the first quest and upgraded the belt, then completed the second one and got it upgraded again.

Might not be very useful, but if you are pressed for time and can't do the whole event, could be good.

quest itself gives 2 black friday coins. Some incentive to do it

If you already have the last belt, get the quest again and it will turn your untradeable belt into a tradeable one
