Possible to still get an absolute ring?
#1
Alright so I just came back to MS 2 days ago and I saw that awesome ring. I read the nexon page outlining how to get the ring, and it says you have to attend every day for all 3 phases? also you get a ring or something at the end of each phase? what are the stats of that ring? does each ring stack?

am i boned?

Not every day but you can only afford to miss two days out of the whole event. Since you missed the entire first phase, you're not getting the Absolute Ring.

You can still do the next two phases (next one starts on July 24) and get two rings that have stats similar to the original Evo Ring and Evo Ring II. And also a ring-shaped chair.

yup! all the rings are tradeable after wards, but they're a slight bit worse than the older evolving rings. If you need tradeable rings though, it's a good thing to have.

The draw of the Absolute ring isn't just its raw power, it's its tradability. All the rings you listed are nice, sure, but after you use them on one character they're stuck there forever. Those aren't total replacements for the Absolute ring.

True didn't think about that since I only main my merc and give it the perm things with high % stat :o

The +11 1st ring is also tradeable. If you're willing to put in the work for Ring II and III, you have the option to buy the 1st off someone to complete the set and make the Absolute Ring.

its the little tradable things that gives a user an upper hand when making a new character and outdamaging their competition

e.g starting a mule with Character Cards, Links, Common % gear(e.g earrings), 4 Evo rings or similar, and blessing of empress gives a ridiculously huge advantage to those compared to those trying out new characters for the first time.

I don't think that would work. You need 31 stamps on your calendar.

And I only main my Hero. But to make that Hero stronger I have to make link-skill mules. The better I can equip them without spending a meso, the faster they're at 120 and out of my sight.

There is probably a reason there were stamps.

I wouldn't be surprised if this turns out to be the case, but the fact that the 10th day's potion made your 1st ring tradeable regardless of the upgrade status and the stamps status inclines me to think otherwise.

11th day and 12th day potions made your ring tradeable even if it was level 1.
How does this indicate you don't need stamps for the rewards?
The event description doesn't say anything about when rings become tradeable. But it does say quite clearly
Xenon patch notes Wrote:- If players have participated at least 31 days, they can receive the Absolute Ring, which has the combined stats of all three Evolving Rings.
- Players can keep track of their progress by speaking to Gaga and selecting 'Check your event list.' This will bring up an Attendance Check UI that shows each date of the event, and stamps on the days that the player has participated in.
and
Xenon patch notes Wrote: Receiving Rewards
Players are able to speak to Gaga during the Rewards Phase and earn a reward based on how many days they have participated/stamps they have collected during the Absolute Ring event. These rewards are:

Absolute Ring medal: 1 - 10 stamps: Category: Medal, Required Level: 13, Weapon/Magic ATT: +4
Absolute Ring Shoulder Decoration: 11 - 20 stamps: Category: Shoulder Decoration, Weapon/Magic ATT: +6
Absolute Ring Chair: 21 - 30 stamps: Recovers 50 HP every 10 seconds
Absolute Ring + all previous Absolute rewards: 31 - 33 stamps: Category: Ring, STR/DEX/INT/LUK: +18, MaxHP: +75, Weapon/Magic ATT: +15, Weapon/Magic DEF: +600, Accuracy: +6, Avoidability: +6, Diligence: +6, Speed: +15, Jump: +6

... all of which are inferior to the Absolute Ring. So, I am trying to get that one.

15att 18all stat is still a pretty nice boost if you can't get your hands on a %stat ring. Definitely replacing my AB.

Still using the crit ringf or that 10% crit dmg/+10% min crit. Most underrated ring in MS.
