Broken LOZ Wind waker disk magically fixed.
#1
2009:

- Missing legend of zelda windwaker ever since I sold my gamecube.
- Buys wind waker after finally finding one costing 40 euro's.
- Waits forever to get it after 2 months from the person selling it.
- Finally get it to find out the disk cannot be read (Tried both my Wii/GC).
- Pissed as fk sending hate mail back ranting.
- She never replies.

2013

- Still looking at my legend of zelda wind waker box still pissed.
- Tries to play it again (After having tried to do so a million times between 2009/2013).
- Hmmm let's try it with gamecube backup launcher that I have now when I hacked my Wii for fake GC games because idk why. (???)
- ''Error 657 disk cannot be read''
- Green flickering screen Wii spazzing out.
- I rage again thinking I broke my Wii or something. (Bricked)
- Then suddenly black screen and suddenly ''Nintendo'' appears
- Game works and the music of the beginning screen starts playing.
- Freaks out and confused/happy.

what just happened?

The thing that makes it weird is that the disk was an original... that's why I do not get why a backup launcher is making it work.

Maybe it's the updated IOSes that finally allow you to play.

Or maybe the disc trolled you for 4 years and finally gave up. Rolleyes

That might be it yeah.
Either way i'm extremely happy, waiting for my 9 year old brother to come home and show him why legend of zelda is awesome.

dunno if that's the best game for the job, since it has such a slow start... but so glad it works, hey!
