What's with those cells in the consume items? They look so weird. Doesn't make sense to me. People who went through Visitors, any heads-up?

They are just scrolls that worked on the lame suit that bing gave you. You had to wear it to do the quests if I remember.

I'm fairly sure those are the same cells from the VPQ. but the fact they can only be used on the Dojo belts makes it seem like they've just moved around some files and fucked up with some item id's or something.

A new Monster Bomb book? Monster Bomb was removed months ago. As if there wasn't enough junk in this game already.

i lived through and ATE visitor pq. as said above, those were a part of the many "scrolls" that you had to use on your visitor equips. there were a few others that gave str, dex, and such along with these.

and nope, no vpq, I SAW NOTHING, THIS PATCH'S A LIE, A LIE.

Why mess with Monster Bomb's strings when it no longer exists '-'

i'd do it for the visitor set really, it pains me that i can't anvil pure gold shoes and armwrists.

While I agree the weapons are not nearly as useful as they once were, I would like that medal. Lf> vpq armos

That is a good point, though a lot of anvils. Even though i happen to like the default of most 140+ pirate set ups.

That is a good point, though a lot of anvils. Even though i happen to like the default of most 140+ pirate set ups.

yea, but you can't ignore the very shiny bronze/silver/gold equips, i'm sure they'd look pretty nice with a knuckle on top for example. i wanted the gold gloves for a long time until lionheart came out (since those have golden frames too)

the medal is barely worse than the gauntlet one too (to me it's a difference of around 400 range) so it's still a pretty good medal, and the way of getting it didn't rely on your jump prowess (except for that party "jump the ball" room) i'd have a stroke if we got a, say, "exclusive" VPQ where the aran+evan+ultimate visitors dropped the 127 gear, but they also dropped recipes to make the current gear better, as in a whole new set of 150 gear to rival JMS's

it's alien themed already, so that's a plus for it's chances of it happening

If they made a 150 set that rivals kms 150 gear on the other hand, i wouldn't be sure how to feel...

Meh, while the VIP equipment is certainly outdated now many people can still get quite a bit of use out of them.
Last time the VIP quests were out I thought it was a stupid event and did nothing with it... something I severely regret now.
I'm personally looking forward to this.
