It's 2013.

Stop looking so deep into the future. It's 4 years, and if you're 18 now that would be 18.18% of your lifetime you're planning ahead of.

I applied to every public school in Ohio and got in (got into a few decent private ones too). Now I'm watching all my friends get rejected or wait listed from all the Ivy and top colleges...

Senior here, I haven't applied anywhere except LSU. Still haven't gotten any sort of response after 4 months almost, so I'm gonna go to the Senior Counselor at my school (apparently LSU has been not responding to people at my school, but responds if we get the counselor involved) after spring break. According to a friend at LSU their break is next week though, so I may have to wait a bit longer. I will probably not get in given my GPA, but I can just go to BRCC and do their transfer program which auto-places you in LSU after a semester or two of good grades.

Going to UCO for my first year, then transferring to OSU for however long it takes to get a half-decent CompSci degree.

Wheeeeee.
