[COLOR="#cc8899"]Citizens of Middle,
The town of Middle in the county Nowhere has a problem. People have been dying in violent, gruesome ways and it's believed that a murderer or group of murderers is acting within the town, yet nobody new has arrived in years. You all know each other fairly well, having lived amongst each other for several years, but old feuds are resurfacing and small slights blown out of proportion in the resulting paranoia. Nobody knows who is to blame, and all attempts to reach out for help from inside of Middle have been unsuccessful. The nearest town, Somewhere, is in Far Away county and you cannot trust anyone enough to send a messenger away for several days to get help.
Below is a record of who is who and potential causes for suspicions. None of this is news to anyone (word gets around fast in a small town like Middle), but it never hurts to be able to look at everything together. I'll note here and now that traditional mafia roles mean nothing alongside flavor - any of the players could have any role, flavor is not a factor in deciding who is what. However, the flavor may provide clues throughout the game as to what is going on.
Specific alignments and any additional role information will be sent to you all via individual PMs.
Good luck, folks.
