How To Get A's

If you feel that B's or lower are right for you, I have nothing against that.

Hey guys. I recently got this so far for my grades:

Language - B
Math - B
History - A
Science - B
Spanish - A
Health - A
Basic Drafting - A

Great, 3 of the most important subjects are B's, while everything else are A's. This is how I study:

Listen, pay attention in class, and take notes in class. I sometimes don't understand what something s, but move on.

When I do a test, I get all nervous and wrecked-up, and I really need help with getting A's on the tests of Science and Math... I do all my homework in all the subjects.

For math, additional practice helps. Some of the problems give you great insight if you can work them out.

As for science... I dunno, just understand how everything works? xD (and if you're doing mathematical stuff, see above)

Go to bed earlier, eat breakfast, stop eating fast food, eat fish . Do some jogging to keep your heart healthy, as that would keep your level of stress more controlled.

Try doing more excercises in the subject if you feel you're on loose ground as well.

I've heard that a lot and never tried it because I was so lazy, I regret that so much now. At least I can fix the way I study and patch things up to get straight A's!

So maybe when I come home, I should review notes each night of Math and Science of what I did and do some problems?

Practice, practice, practice. Doing more problems will help you tackle any problem that may pop up on the test. Oh and eat breakfast, breakfast is very important along with getting a good sleep at night.

Oh and if you don't understand material make sure you go and ask your teacher for help after class. You have to be proactive in school. No one is gonna help you if you don't ask for it.

But look at it this way, after you graduate, it's not going to really matter!

my marks and how I got them:

english: C: 66 (I worked really hard and tried so hard to write those stupid essay, spend like 99% of the time on this course)
advanced function:A: 80 (Every morning during advanced functions, I just put my head on the table and fall asleep, and occationally take notes when the teacher emphasis an equation, before a test, I would just take a few minutes to skim though my notes and the textbook, I never bothered to do homework except when i'm extremely bored that I have nothing else to do which is like once every 2 weeks)
Data management:A: 80 (I have no idea what the teacher is teaching, apparently she's having trouble managing the class. I never do my homework and never bothered to study. During the test/quiz, i just use my common sense and get higher marks than those who studied o.O)
Physics:A: 81 (My physics teacher doesn't know how to teach. I tried to study this course on my own once every 2 weeks to catch up with the lesson. Usually I ended up getting ~60% on test, however I get 100% on homeworks and assignments because I do them.)
Computer Science:A:95 (I like computer science and I like coding, I usually do more than what the teachers expected for fun, and I code on my spare time)

If you don't get something, ask the teacher.
My school has this thing on tues/thurs called tutorial where they have a specific time for meeting your teacher and going over confusing material. IF you don't have that, just talk to your teacher out of class and try to schedule something. If they are uncooperative, just talk to a counselor.

Well you're doing all the right things. When I was in high school I did that as well..review the material after I got home from school so it's fresh in my mind. I too get nervous when it comes to tests & make stupid errors which result in getting the incorrect answer which IS one of the answer choices on the exam . Science is basically memorization..if you don't really understand something, go to the teachers office hours, or wait till class is over so you can ask him/her about it.
