Bigfoot questions, wheres toe? and hp needed?
#1
hi everyone ^^, so i have 2 questions , i been hunting some BFs after last SC (12/02) i killed 9 BFs atm and no toe, so toe is not droping anymore? or drop rate is realy low now? i been hunting before SC and was droping more easily (3 ~4 tries) so is just me and bad luck, or drop rate change? 0_o
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

question 2: about HP, i read that topic sometime ago :

http://www.southperry.net/forums/showthr...ower+guard

fiel said about PG reflect just 20% at bosses, and someone said 12k is the higher hit of BF, doing some math, max damage would be 9600 with power guard on, i have 9780 HP, and no matter what i do i always die in one single hit, so PG dont work at all? how much hp i realy need to solo that thing? >_<

It's always had a crappy droprate as far as it's toe goes, first one I ever killed dropped one and then the next 7~ didn't and so it's just a bit of bad luck. It's the same case with the Horseman mister really.

Don't know squat about its hits, it'll kill me in one go for the rest of my life so pwuh to that.

Some F/P friends of mine who abused BF glitch reportedly got a toe every 7-9 kills or so. Have fun with that =P

I've seen BF do 13k damage.

@Holypie, I'd imagine it's possible to shoot BF to death (there's no safe platform though since it jumps). The question I'd ask is whether you can handle interference from the map mobs.

It'll run you over in seconds with Spear, it's rather quick and half your attacks'll mis due to messed up KB and no removal of Wraiths is gonna help that. I guess Forgotten Path'd be the safest map in which to attempt to kill it but you're gonna get hit even there, not to mention it would take forever as a 10x mage. Have fun with that.

Throw on some HP gear and try to get to 10k hp, then see if PG works. It really SHOULD, since it works on other bosses at 20%. If worst comes to worst, get HB and you'll be spiffy.

I think BF does more damage than what is shown when you get hit, not sure, though.

I would imagine both pirate branches will have a difficult time with Bigfoot for that reason. :/

I assume a Buccaneer could solo a Bigfoot easily if he were to Apple with Super Transform and spam Demolition, use Time Leap and repeat. of course if you were washed to 10k+ HP then you'll be perfectly fine to get up close to him. Rolleyes

Corsair would fair better though thanks to Battleship Cannon. Assuming it can pin it much like Hurricane would.

The droprate of that toe is incredibly low. I had to go through 11 bigfoots before I came across one, not to mention that Khanzir guy starting trouble.

if bigfoot's messed up kb is identical to elder wraiths, i should have no problem because thunder spear is so slow, it hits the elder wraith, and it glitches, but as soon as it's out of it's glitchy state, it gets hit again pushing it back infinitely(does bigfoot have a magic attack?)

That's only part of it.

He's also invincible for about 80% of his stomping attack, so it throws off the rhythm.

A post on Basil said that a unboostered TS is the right speed to kb bigfoot. You may want to try it. Make sure you are at 0% though.
