BatteMage Vs other Mage Vs Bosses

I feel battlemage on main bosses is very weak........ while other mage get full dmg bam only do half dmg
the only other mage that is at battlemage level is Bishop..

Here the reason.... When attacking Boss such as ( Magnus / Hillia / Cygnus / Pink bean )
Battlemage only do 50% of it their dmg to those boss cuz these boss has Physical Resistance and Battlemage is the only Mage other than Bishop that doenst have Elemental reset or 100% Resistance Ignore

Fire / Poison - Elemental Decrease

Ice/Lightning - Elemental Decrease

Evan - Elemental Decrease

Luminous - 100% Resistance Ignore

BattleMage - None

Bishop - None

I think bam should get a 100% resistance ignore just like lumionous so it too can be the same rank as the other mage

Why don't we just give that skill to everybody so no one suffer from damage reduction!!

They already have

1. The highest 1v1 potential(and by extension mobbing potential) in funded or unfunded situations on neutral monster(2nd highest once Unlimted comes into play)
2. Superb Defensive abilities
3. Some of the best party skills in the game

If your issue is merely that Battle Mages don't get to ignore elemental resistances, then I don't see what's wrong. Battle Mages only have two attacks that are considered elemental, and one of those two attacks is near useless while the other isn't used for bossing.

That, and I don't think Luminous has any attacks that are considered elemental either. If he does, then Nexon sure has done a good job at removing elemental advantages from the game considering I have yet to see mine deal extra damage to anything that would logically be weak to his light attacks.

As for the physical resistance that a lot of bosses have. I'm pretty sure those bosses also have a magic resistance, meaning the other mages require those buffs so as not to be dealing only 25% damage to them.

All non-elemental magical attacks (and perhaps even those too), such as the very ones being complained about, are subject to Physical Resistance. Any mage with an Elemental Reset can reset their skills out of Physical Resistance, thus his complaint.

I'm pretty sure Dark Shock and Dark Genesis are considered Dark elemental (or were the last time I played my Battle Mage). It just so happens that about every enemy with a weakness to that element is either under level 70 or not in GMS at all. Most people don't even realize that there is a Dark element anymore.

Neither the skills have an element tag in extractions, so they are not Elemental. Just because the skill has an element in the name, doesn't mean it'll be elemental.
