Anvils

Hello,

I have a question about anvils. I've never used them before but have seen people changing so many items and it has caught my eye. Just wondering lets say I used a Mark of Beta on my lv140 warrior helmet, will it use up the Mark of Beta or will I keep it?

I'm a little confused with that actually happens and would like not to lose my MOB to a simple mistake.

Anviling: you make item B look like item A. The only thing that changes is item B's appearance. No stat changes, no disappearing items.
