Question about 1/1, damage reduction and Invincible

So I've heard from numerous friends that damage reduction skills apply to 1/1 attacks, such that when they get 1/1'd they're left with some hp and mp. For some reason though on my bishop Invincible doesn't seem to do that. If I get 1/1d I'm left at one, and the 25% damage reduction doesn't. work. Anyone know what I'm missing? Thanks.

Invincible simply doesn't apply to 1/1. You aren't missing anything. I know that Meso Guard works against it and there's one other skill that does, but that's it.

Only Paladins have Achilles now. Heros make do with Power Reflection.

well, i just call it that way because i forget the name of aran's, mikhail's and DS's achilles counterparts

I thought I heard that the battle mage card doesn't affect 1/1 anymore. Aran's high defense makes your health not drop to 1. Not sure if combo barrier does the same thing or not.

High Defense is Achilles, Combat Barrier's more like PG (cast skill, but it can't be dispelled). But afaik both work against 1/1s.

Stupid Evan...magic guard, magic shield, onyx will all reduce damage, but none of them weaken 1/1.

The I/L Hyper Skill Ice Aura will too, in the future.

Demon Slayer has 1/1 protection as well


though i never found out if it was from Obsidian Skin or the 3rd job skill. never bothered to check.

I'll add in Lumi's Blessing of Darkness in 2nd job.

The only problem is it's not always on due to how this skill works...
