Enhances and Unfinished Items
#1
I'm currently scrolling a new katara (qq) with 20% 5att 3all 20%s and 10% clean slates from the renegades events.

I had 28 renegades scrolls & 30 clean slates. One scroll worked, and 3 slates worked.

I want to finish the 3 slots and then enhance by taking advantage of Monday's shield scroll/ward sale.

Would it be possible for me to have a +4 katara no slots, enhanced x amount of times, and to then clean slate the remaining slots back?
Basically: can I clean slate an item after it has been enhanced?

Question regarding WS/shields:

Thanks in advance!

yes, you can do that with the enhances, make sure you don't lose any attack by enhancing early though.

and people are having a fit over the protect thing, they think WS gonna get deleted, so they're liquidating

Yes it would possible.
However, note that Enhancements give a different amount of Att/M.Att based on the equip's current Att/M.Att (ex. 100-149 Att = +3 Att, 150-199 Att +4 Att, etc.), so you could be missing out on a few attack, if you're okay with that.

To the first question, yes, you can clean slate after enhancing an item, I did that with my ewand during the renegade event.

It's always safer to enhance after every possible slot is perfect, otherwise when you EE, you will miss out on attack.

Ah shoot... I don't want to loose any attack at all from enhancing early.. Totally didn't think of that. Well, anyone have a chart of what att is gained per increment of attack on the item? Maybe I could pull something off if I can make it to 100 att and it won't be that bad.

It's on increments of 50.
1-49 = +1
50-99 = +2
100-149 = +3
150-199 = +4
200-249 = +5
etc.

Thanks so much! I think I don't think I'll pass 150, so if I can get past 100 during this, I should be fine.

I wonder if the new added potential will be factored into the equation.

I doubt it, since it's next to the displayed stat.

I think high diligence level helps with the 20% scrolls (Diligence should affect it, right? It's a regular old weapon attack scroll after all) because I was expecting to need a lot more than what I actually used when I did this. I ate through about ~400 clean slates and ~30ish 20%'s so I hope you're patient. :/

Given Nexon's track record, this means enhancement stars and random stats will be invariably connected.

Yes, Diligence works on the 20% "5att 3all" scrolls.

Dilligence works with anything that uses a "normal" scroll formula (% chance of a set +stat) and is in KMS, so yeah, it works.
