Jett vs Corsair

Looking at how similar Jetts are to Corsairs 4th job, does Jett have any real means of competing with Corsairs post-revamp considering that Corsairs get extra attack from bullets and a mastery/final attack skill that Jett doesn't?

Also, do the two have the same number of hits per second? Or is there some upside to Jett I'm missing?
