Nexon Beach Event Recap

Didn't have to sign an NDA, got to pick the brains of a lot of nexon employees and at least a couple developers. Lots of other interesting stuff happened so ask away. Some big things

- There was a book that we could write in, anything we wanted. It is going to be sent to the dev team. Suggestions, comments, ANYTHING

- Same as above more or less but in video form

- Hime is cute + I know her real name

- Nexon event prizes = the best

- Courtney Cox was NOT there, so either she was busy or she really is gone/relocated

- There was a dinner event or something friday/yesterday but I didn't get an invite to that

- They flew some people in + hotels (not sure if hotels were complimentary or not but the flights were). Some out of state, farthest I know of was Canada

Interesting things: Met Mr. Basil (Bog), Hime
Toured the Nexon suites and got to see prototypes for new game material/new games.
Had lunch with the MapleStory staff including GMs.
GMs were not allowed to tell us their igns due to "past security reasons"
Talked about possible future updates for the game.
Went out to dinner with the "Executives"

Yea, I wanted to win that shirt. Was so jelly.

They had 4 comps set up. People logged into their maple accounts. One of the GMs didn't say his ign directly but I saw what it was.

Also, hime does have a GM account.

There's another thread about kms not requiring KSSNs anymore. One of the nexon employees said it casually that kms doesn't require KSSNs anymore as of now (so that's confirmed for sure)

And yes i wrote a lot of things in the dev book. Main things I wrote was about bosses, potential, cash shop trading room. I saw some messages about "make maple like pre-big bang" and other things like that.

Also pineapple the girl that won the 1mil nx. She's a bishop T__T 3 runner up prizes was 100k nx. You also got a giant plushie, shirt, headphones (triton or something). Everyone else got a goodie bag which the best thing in there is 25k nx.

Did they say anything remotely informative about the Thief/Pirate Revamp?
