Dear Maplers,

Since last Thursday, we have been investigating and working on the high CPU usage issue related to BlackCipher (Nexon Guard). We will make improvements to BlackCipher and update you on our progress toward resolving the issue. In the meanwhile, please try to reduce the number of running programs while playing MapleStory.

Honestly, it seems rather pointless.
It took all of a day and a half for a "full nexonguard bypass" to be developed.

The application does require some memory, but it will not affect your gameplay or take a major amount of your system’s resource. If you are seeing lag or experiencing other issues with BlackCipher running, please let us know through the customer support system. We are always looking to fix and improve our system.

._. Well, that sucks. At least I finally know the reason my computer shuts down every time I open maple + other programs. (I've never payed attention to that BlackCipher in the past.)
