Mages are short 20 SP

We got 2 3rd job skills reduced by 10 points each and added a skill for 20 points max. Unfortunately, nexon did not give us back the 20 points from the reduction.

Just read 2 other mages making the same mistake.

Made a thread on the glitch forums.
Hopefully it will be resolved soon since other classes are missing SP as well.

On the somewhat bright side, only 2 of those points mattered... Big Bang is pretty much worthless with the buffs to CL/GC and Paralyze/(and ME?)

Lost 1 SP on my DrK =.= tried 2 resets both didn't bring it back.

Oh well, not like Rush damage matters THAT MUCH.

I think they can skip Seal and just put the points into Overdrive when using an SP reset.

That could work if allowed. But if they're short 20 sp by the time they get to lvl 120, how can they advance (since maple doesn't allow anyone to advance unless all the previous job's sp are used)? They'd need 151 sp to be used when stuck with 131.

you miss the point

you need to be 4 levels past job advance in order to have spent enough points to complete 3rd job. if you are 120 right now and haven't advanced, you would have get to 124 in order to beable to advance.

this same thing happened to a number of priests a while back. they lost 3 SP in a reset. 3rd job priests had to get to 121 in order to get 4th job because of it.

Same problem for my Dawn Warrior, I'm missing 11 SP after doing SP reset. Not that I really care but still.. Wonder how long it'll take to get this one fixed.

Of course Nexon wouldn't be able to get the patch done on time AND get things right the first time. That's just unheard of.

I just checked my Bishop (didn't reset yet). It seems the points are lost regardless if you SP reset or not since I have:

10 Dispel
10 Mystic Door
20 Holy Symbol (Was 30/30 before patch)
20 Shining Ray (Was 21/30 before patch)
10 Doom
20 Spell Booster
10 Teleport Mastery
20 Holy Focus
20 Holy Magic Shell
0 Arcane Overdrive

0 SP in unused pool. 11 SP lost from Holy Symbol (10) and Shining Ray (1) caps lowering.

I just messed up my girlfriend's i/l. I wish i had read this sooner but why is Arcane Overdrive affected by combat orders?

Well, you technically have 11 SP in 3rd job (Chances are Seal or Thunderspear (for I/L) own those points.
And then you get 18 "spare" in 4th job...

Confirming. my F/P had the same SP left after the reallocation of points as before it, when I just dumped 20 into magic crit.

Screwed over my lvl71 DK. Haven't done the math, but I'm at least missing 4 4th job points (1 from 70 and 3 from 71 right?).
Back to using ground smash. -_-;

Just thought twice about coming back after quitting maple a few months ago because duping is now fixed. Now this...
