Boss DEF ignore
#1
[Image: grid.png]
Damage Multiplier after boss defence = {100 - [(1 - DEF ignore%) * boss defense]} Correct?

I imagine it works the same as for any other class.

If a boss has 50% def and you have 15% ignore, the boss ends up having an effective 50%*(100%-15%) = 42.5% def

So you'd be doing 57.5% of your "normal" damage.

eyup, though I'm sure you could have found the answer by using the search function. This has been asked several times already.

Demon Impact is +30% boss damage and 50%DEFignore, so with Binding Darkness and Demon Impact alone that's 80%DEF ignored already.

Force Cost: 30, Damage: 240%, Number of Hits: 5, Max Enemies Hit: 3, Critical Hit Rate: +100%, Defense Ignored: 30%, Damage vs Boss Monsters: +30%

After Justice Patch ;p

Btw, can DEF ignore go above 100% ?

no, you can't reduce defense under zero.

So the highest you can go against a 75% def boss is 100% of your damage ):

of course, unless you mix boss damage there. once a boss defense hits zero, it can't go lower. so you'll be hitting your full damage then.

How exactly do you read that table?

So it seems like a mix of boss damage + def red is the best potential on pots?

once the boss is under 50% PDR, boss damage is best.

So, in most cases PDR is better then Boss Damage? :O

backwards, in fact, if you have the leafre set active, there isn't a single instance in which %ignore is better than %boss. (when fighting a boss, obviously)only place would be the empress knights, since they seem to have lost their boss tags.
