Dear Maplers,

Were happy to announce the launch of the MapleStory Support Portal! The Support Portal is a part of our ongoing effort to improve MapleStorys service experience for our players. The portal has direct links to Support Tickets, Technical Support Forums, MapleStory News & Announcements, and Billing & Account Questions.

We have also launched the MapleStory Knowledge Base, a library of information for many commonly asked questions in MapleStory. You can browse or search for answers instantly. Many popular topics are updated regularly to help our players get answers and get back to the game. You can also suggest new entries to the Knowledge Base to help grow the information available.

Visit the Support Portal and tell us what you think!

Quick someone go submit the entire "Things Every Mapler Should Know" as Article #1
It's not having what you want - It's wanting what you've got.

Improvement or just new wrapping on the same turd?

Edit:
The new knowledgebase is just about as knowledegable as one could expect from Nexon:
"I accidently sold my favorite weapon to an NPC. Can I get it back?
Unfortunately, once an item has been sold to an NPC, there is no way to get it back. Before finishing any transactions with NPC salespeople, a warning will pop-up asking if you are sure you want sell this item. Please always double check what items you are selling before the transaction is completed."

Plain incorrect and outdated.

Was wondering the same thing, but didn't see anything about quicker response time, or anything about a response at all. So just seems to be a list of F.A.Qs at the moment.

Same turd. They're just skipping the middle man of having a rep copy paste the answer out of the knowledge base by making it visible so you can go find the wrong answer for yourself.

Just had a quick look at it, it’s a nice idea I guess but it seems to have Nexon’s usual polish.

Quote:The Dual Blade Explorer class is not a hero class; it is considered the third branch of the Rogue/Thief class (the other two being Bandit and Assassin). Unlike the Explorer class, the Dual Blade class is already predetermined. Upon selecting the Dual Blade class, your job advancement is preset to the Thief Cclass, whereas an Explorer has five of the traditional job advancements.

No mention of the extra job advances or cash shop mastery books? Not to mention the expected Nexon typo.

Not much of a knowledge base, it's very lacking in information.

Or improvement, apparently.

Or they'll close all existing ones assuming you can solve them yourself and those that can't can open fresh ones.

lol I was hoping for the same thing.

There should honestly be a live chat function to report players/hackers, with a team of game masters reviewing the report within 5 minutes. Oh well.

If only the AcornStory thing wasn't enough to show that they barely have an idea of what their game is... :|

LOL I do this as my job, except for a company that actually answers tickets instead of leaving them in queue for a year and a half Big Grin

This.
Why did I even think they would do that...

I think Nexon is getting lazier... instead of answering tickets, they expect us to answer our own tickets using the same resource. Then again, at least we'll get a disappointing answer on request rather than wait 9 months for it.

<_< so is there any point to sending tickets?
