Worth to leave Evo III rings at level 9?

Instear of using max level Evo I, II and III rings, would the following setup work?

Evolving Ring III Lv. 8 (tradeable)
Evolving Ring III Lv. 9 (tradeable)
Evolving Ring III Lv. 10 (tradeable)

vs

Evolving Ring I Lv. 17 (tradeable)
Evolving Ring II Lv. 17 (tradeable)
Evolving Ring III Lv. 10 (tradeable)

The first option offers more attack and stats (save for speed and crap), but would it work?

It's not intended to work. You're supposed to only be able to wear one Evolving Ring III, of any level and tradeability.
It probably will work for a bit, since Nexon are prone to repeat mistakes, but then they'll fix it. They may or may not force unequip if you have such a setup on you when the maintenance hits (with ring II they didn't). It is extremely unlikely that they will ban anyone for abusing the glitch.

It won't work period.

I think the most sensible thing to do is to leave your main's ring untradable and try stacking the tradable one with the untradable one in case they stack. That's what I'm planning on doing, anyway, mostly because I don't want that ring stolen if I get hacked again.

They usualy arrive late to the party though, like with the error in the data concerning the VIP crossbow.

That doesn't really matter.
That flag will only stop you from holding two level 10 rings, but it won't stop you from wearing a 9 and a 10.
They have to have special code that runs every time you try to equip any evo III ring, and checks if you're already wearing any kind of evo III ring.
Whether that code is already in place or not, we can't know yet.

So what's the current situation of Evolving Ring IIs? Can you equip a tradeable level 16 with a tradeable level 17? If so, that's pretty much green light to do what I suggest on the topic title.

If possible, I'm fully aware it's just because of GMS's incompetence, I just want to work with what we are being given.

With Magic Guard + Invincible by Bishop can take more hits than any other job before using a pot.
If I get dispelled, 300 more hp isn't going to save my ass anyway.

Any sort of accident on nexons part that works for a week or two with the evolving ring 3s will be fixed so that you can only use a single evolving ring 3. Just like the first two times.

The Evo I and II situations were fixed long ago. Can only equip 1 Evo I and II ring at any given time.

I can only see the loss of HP being crucial for boss fights, but that's it really.
There's been a many of times where I only live, because of the extra HP certain equips gave me.
