Becoming A Bandit!
#1
Okay, so I decided to quit my Assassin for a Bandit. I just a few clarifications...

-Which is better, Dexless or Low-Dex?
-What is a recently updated guide that fits with what you said to Question #1?

dex and thieves -- explained.

its not really about dex though. dex is a replacement for equipment that doesnt give luk. so really its about luk and watk. and a way to do that is by low dex. where ever and however you can get more of it is you can be stronger. like how all gMS shadowers now converted to str because the dragon khanjar provides a good source for watk.

Start out dexless until you hit lvl lvl 80 (Dragon's Tail Level) and stay low dex until lvl 120 (when you can equip a dragon khanjar) and convert to STR.

How low of a DEX though when I'm wearing the Dragon's tail?

As low as possible with the Dex equips you have access to.

I'm not a bandit player, but I read a lot of Shadowers converting to STR at later levels. Why is that? I'm just curious.

I converted to STR 3 levels ago, personally I did it because gear later in the game stacks STR so much that the added attack/speed of STR weapons (not to mention the Khanjar/Dragon Khanjar shields that already have attack built in) more than make up for the few points I lost putting into STR, and it really is pretty low by the time you have a good pendant, zakum helm, etc.

It just depends on how much fundings you have to have the equipment for the additional dex. Since you obviously still replied after butterfli posted her excellent guide, I suggest you to read the guide Excellent.
