KMS Experience...What is this guy saying? O_O
#1
So I was minding my own business in Kerning Square when this guy starts talking to me.....Since I don't speak Korean, I was wondering
if anyone knows what the people in the SS were saying? It didn't look very good when they switched to what English they knew. :f6:
It was a funny experience so I thought I'd ask and share.

More literate than gMS kiddies, and funnier to read. This is either ignored/not posted by the english KMS community or an isolated incident.

LMFAO! That's great. KMS players are funny. A lot of male Korean players, from what I see, tend to have a very bad attitude - especially if you tell them you don't speak English. It's probably best to ignore them and not say anything. Perhaps even leave the map if possible. A lot of the female Korean players I ran into were much more kind and offered assistance and friendship.

Nah, this kind of stuff happens all of the time in KMS. It's basically daily stuff.

this happens when koreans want to show off their english vocabulary.
they usually only know swear words.

don't take any of it seriously, they just don't know how to communicate properly.

however, in the future, you might want to say 한국말못해요. as contradicting as it might seem, they will understand.

When I play foreign servers, I never speak in English in to all chat unless someone initiated it (that was Japanese or Korean), and ignore them.

I don't even know what happened xD I came into the map to complete one of the quests and he starts spamming things to me in korean. I said it in English hoping that'd be a big enough hint lol. Then this 4th
job mercedes comes in and i just kept quietly killing as they went on :3

From my experience there are a lot of people in Korean/Japanese games that don't like foreigners playing them. When I first played jMS a few years back, I got KSed quite regularly because I would talk in English to people who didn't know it.

The part where it says the "son of the beach" has a weird series of characters before the "ing-".

That is the KMS censor. Rather than *** like gms uses, it uses whatever those characters means. probably something along the lines of "Censored" or "Bleep" (Total guess)

What about

미안 해요, 당신의 언어를 이해 하지 않습니다.
Took a while fiddling with google translate to find something that translates cleanly both ways, but would something like this be a bit more polite?

translates to "I'm sorry, I don't understand your language"

Thank you so much for posting this. It's quite spectacular.

I'd imagine that be more confusing than frustrating.

Also, I love the stereotypes!

As opposed to all the other definitions that term has?

All the Korean people I have interacted with has been very nice and actually tried to speak English in a non-offensive way.

I get a "sorry" or a discussion about the US.

Most of them just ignore me. The few have spoken to me have been very similar in manners xD I say spoken to, more like been spoken at!
But it doesn't bother me xD I just found this particular incident really funny.
