So, new laptop this xmas. Halp please?

So, I realize that I can't be using the mousepad and type out on the arrow keys simultaneously. And there's also no photo/image editing software and trying to download paint.net simply leads to a gimp download. These two things, anyone happen to know how/if I can make it so i can use the mouse pad to move the cursor and hold down the arrow keys at the same time without one locking out and stopping the other, and anyone have a dl link for paint.net?

Also, since this is a new laptop, what's a recommened antivirus software suite?

I use COMODO, though in all honesty, you can use whatever. A lot of people still use AVG, I think. I dunno.

I prefer Avast. I always suggest Avast.

The problem with the touchpad probably is a software (driver) limitation. There are a lot of things you can't do simultaneously with moving the pointer via the touchpad.

I had the same problem with my brother's laptop. I just went to the mousepad settings and enabled the mouse movement when using keys.
