I don't think litterally ride on it but like carry it around with them rather than just putting it on a bike rack or something. I think the bell is just kind of a pre-determined get out of the way, they don't really second guess by saying "wait I'm in a swimming pool...." lmao

Pretty much this. If I did this in a mall, people would just think I was selling ice cream and pack around me even more.
