KMS User Info leaked

Seems that GMS isnt the only place with problems with info getting out.I just wish the FCC was like the KCC and would get involved and force Nexon's hand in letting users know in GMS when stuff like this happens.

So if Nexon Korea got hacked, Nexon America doesn't stand a chance.

It's not a new occurrence.
It's not like KMS is immune to hackers, despite what your limited view of the world may lead you to believe.

And how do you know this is related to the leak?
I heard that quite some KMS'ers got hacked way before this happened.

You know this is really bad for people who have non-korean people playing KMS. If someone took their SSN and they didn't know it, it means that they could potentially be at risk without knowing that they are (granted that you can do things with SSNs in Korea the same as in the U.S.) o_O

Well there's a fairly limited amount of SSN's for the Leafre.net and EF accounts, so if someone gets one of those then at least a hundred people are compromised.

I am fully aware many people get hacked everyday in many MMO's. I was posting this more to illustrate the difference in how the same company, Nexon, albeit different countries can be run so drastically different when it comes to the release of information on something affecting their user-base. While a lot of the truthfulness by nexon may be due to the governing agency in Korea, at least they find out the truth.

5 million account in GMS or less? If so much of accounts get hacked all at once. I wonder what kind of hacker are they dealing with?

We've been hacked before....
