Akyrum / Cross Hunter questline in GMS?

Usually JMS or any other version of MS makes some great content (Neo Tokyo, Taipei 101, etc) and KMS tends to dumb it down.

Just a little while ago GMS got the JMS monster book system and quest line, that is the Crusader Codex and the crusader questline.

Well, it appears to me that just recently KMS got JMS's idea... and surprisingly made it 100 times better.

The quest line holds incredibly relevant story points to the player, such as the Black Mage affecting the world, contact with the Goddess of Time, the introduction of Akyrum (one of the Black Mage's generals, who is key to the Demon Slayer's storyline), meeting the legendary heroes on a time travel to the past, and a baby dragon rider, aww.

This storyline looks huge and with canonic relevance, so I wonder what is GMS going to do? Now that Demon Slayer is running closer and all.

I think we must get this version and will see the current silent crusade just vanish. First time KMS actually improve anything from another version too!

who knows, maybe they'll merge both storylines? would be quite the clusterfuck though

No idea, I would like kMS version, still keeping the monster book. Only thing I dislike is that kMS shoulderpad can't be potentialed.

Nah, I like having Monster Book. I think Silent Crusade is better imo.

In other words they'll do the usual thing and f'uck up the silent crusade and the kMS will overwrite it, bad for new players good for me since I'll get more quest.
Or we could hope that we get split personality silent crusaders.

Cross Hunter makes Silent Crusade look like a joke. The items are way better, minus the shoulder.

i was wondering because of the lulzy 20% shoulder scrolls, but if they can't be potted... LOLGG.

GMS has the shoulderpads, KMS has everything else. In any case they could just include the GMS items in the shop, too.

Plus I think that the GMS story is really cheesy. Specially when you're playing a married character who develops a crush on a NPC, lol.

This story is much much much better and I also prefer the use of different coins for the items instead of just using the coins to level up. They have more interesting monsters and a more interesting and relevant plot.

What was the silent crusade? It was.... uh... a group that... um.... did something? Even if they did ever explain what they actually did it's so forgettable of a story that a month or two later I forgot what it was. I'd much rather get this content. Besides, it's not like they're going to remove the current shoulder pads from the game if they do change the content, they just won't be available anymore.

The Silent Crusade quests were a nice distraction, even if it was cheesy. xd I would really like if we can combine the JMS and KMS storylines together. It wouldn't be that hard @ after ending the JMS part of the storyline, the Crusade starts worrying about Akryum.

I wouldn't mind removing the whole old storyline, keep the book, add the new one, keep the way to get the coins. The meso sink isn't that bad.

also I liked the story of the jms one... was pretty cool atleast for me... i could feel the drama on it

What JMS is doing: Merging the Silent crusader and the cross hunter quest line into 1 awesome tale.

What GMS is doing: Recoloring the Cross hunter NPCs.

Also why is everyone saying the Cross hunter items are so awesome? They are pretty much the same clean and most of the scrolls have higher chance to blow the items than the Silent crusade ones.

I don't see why both can't exist. All they have to do is make a separate tab in the shop and set up a second quest line in the NPCs. They don't even have to change the Monster Gates.
