Modern Warfare 3 - Discussion Thread!

****PLEASE NOTE: I have nothing against Battlefield 3 (BF3), and I think its a great game that'll be having some nice competition with Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) once they're both released. With that in mind, I WILL NOT TOLERATE ANY BF3 VS MW3 BASHING COMMENTS IN THIS THREAD. ANY SUCH COMMENTS WILL BE DELETED. I don't give a f'ucking damn about which game is the better than the other. They're both great. I don't want to deal with bashing that will happen because of the known intense rivalry between those games. Thanks****

So with Modern Warfare 3 coming out within a mere 3 weeks from now, are you excited about this game? What do you like/do not like about this game?

For me, I'm really excited (not hyped, though) about this game simply because its continuing where Modern Warfare 2 left off. Kind of want to see what really happens in the end.

I'll be getting both. I wish MW3 would have a beta too. TBH would have been smarter to give a free game of something totally different. Most people buying MW3 probably already have MW.

Scared of assassin but everything else just looks really fun and really cool, support streak is gonna dominate the point streaks, The PP100m or what ever the hell its called looks like its gonna rape face hip firing and thats all I think i have to say for now.

I was debating about getting it along with BF3 but then I heard about the DLC deal thing....

Ugh. I will only get BF3 now. It blows that it's not on Steam, though.

I'm not too psyched, since Black Ops was such a disappointment in my opinion, for MW3 but I think I will get it.. To see how it is along with BF3 if i can afford that too.

Can't wait for MW3, Since it's actual guns that we know it's going to be more fun imo. I think the factor of what guns we use makes the game more fun, like the Spaz and the p90 etc.

The new weapons that are going to be in this game is somewhat exciting. Hope the M320 grenade launcher doesn't become the new noob tube.

I was slightly considering this, then I read about that 'Calls of Duties Elite', well, that was the nail in the coffin for me.

Yeah IMO I think they're much better than what MW2 has. Lets say I see it as more of an "all-around" thing instead of just picking up perks when you get the drop on others or die.

Some of my friends are excited, but personally, I don't care either way.

My favorite call of duty was CoD: United Offensive expansion for CoD1

I'm excited. Although I don't like that quick scoping is back. It's like taking a step backwards.

I like it makes mini grizz's happy only thing I dont like about it sometimes in scopes in faster then your gun and your just dead. Didnt expect happylight to be an FPS fan .

I wish this didn't come out so dangerously close to BF 3.
I would have been pretty excited for this if it came out at another time, since it'll still be one of the best shooters you can get.

It's fun and addicting as hell.
Since COD4, I've played the Call of Duty multiplayer in every single COD for many, many days on the time tracker.

All their games, just too good.. (except World at War, I hated that crap)

I actually found World at War to be pretty damn hilarious, what with the random ass lines the grunts have and just the physics in the game in general. Was still "okay" overall, and I'm looking forward to MW3's new "class" systems. Seems they're trying to prevent MW2's issues with constant tubing and kill farming without actually focusing on objectives. Whether this will actually be effective with it, is beyond me though. No way to tell until the game's out.

TBH World at War was my favorite. I don't get all the hate towards it.

I'll probably rent Cod 8 just for the singleplayer. BF3 singleplayer sucks lol.
