I literally watched it without knowing how long it was and was just completely in a trance the entire time watching it.
Then I freaked out cause I felt like I fell into some different time zone.

speaking of, minute 3 was freaking awesome, the 3-D effects where totally whoah, and the luigi's mansion part later on around 11+, had a quite sinister aura to it, gave me some chills, siuch an amazing video, and proud to say i've played almost all of the games there.

also, missing my super mario and the 6 golden coins, beat that game as a kid and lost it, still sad about it.

Because it's really well done. (For the most part.)

maybe I should've been more clear

someone tell me what this is before I start watching it. The title of this thread tells me nothing. If it was a 3 minute video I'd dive right in but I'm not wasting a third of an hour on something that I have no clue about.

how much you wasted asking for explanations though?

it's a remix of 30 years of mario, with a lot of awesome graphic effects, and game footage of almost every mario game there was.

or in short, a nostalgiafest.

After watching the video I realized that my favorite mario game is by far Super Mario RPG for SNES, and I also noticed that I've played evert single mario kart game and loved all of them.

I practically own all of these Mario games. From nes to Wii. And I think I have to agree with DarkManiak Super Mario RPG was probably one the best for the snes (even if it costed me 70 dollars when it came out) next to Super Mario World going for a tie. But I cant really say I have a favorite. Cause I love all of them. Cept for Paper Mario for the Wii. I was highly disappointed in that one.

When I say my favorite is Mario RPG for SNES, I mean out of all games and platforms, not just from SNES. For me the ties would be around Paper Mario for N64 and Thousand Year Door for Gamecube, probably cause I've always liked RPGs, and to me, Super Paper Mario for Wii was a disappointment too and never finished it cause it just wasn't fun for me.

This makes me want to find an nes-gamecube just to play some old mario games, wii not too sure about.

It's a Medley of 30 years of Mario through the years. It's pretty much a nostalgia trip throughout all the Mario games through the years from 1981 -> 2011.

Having not played all of the games, I'd have to go with Super Mario Galaxy being the best game for me. It was just beautiful.

I always thought super mario world was the best one. The introduction to Yoshi and allowing him everywhere with you just made the game for me.
