Jounin Throwing Stars
#1
They are the items needed in the quantity of 300 to be able to skip the Ninja Castle Jump Quest through a NPC outside the castle.

Now: are they actually supposed to be THAT rare or is it just a mistake? Are they that rare on JMS?

Jounins already are uncommon monsters, but if you add to that the almost-lunar dew-like droprate of their ETC.. it makes this almost impossible.

Anyone who plays jMS knows?

Indeed. I've only found like 5 in the time I've played JMS. Lmfao

The drop rate might have changed, but they weren't that bad previously.

It's only a 1-time skip though so it's not worth it.

WHAT? It doesn't let you PERMANENTLY skip it? And you need ALL THOSE for just once? :f6:

Are you sure or just assuming?

I'm pretty sure it was confirmed to be a one skip. Someone had an SS of the text box, or got it out of data or something and it said something along the lines of "Would you like to use the 300 stars to skip the jump quest one time"

The quest is a one-time skip and the Zipangu monsters didn't get the "Drop increase" when BB hit, so everything is still the same as it used to be.

Well, a one-time skip is all I need to get Tonosama's card. (That and a friend who can jump, to make sure the toad is home).
Wonder if I'll be able to collect 300 stars by the time I get cards from the Empress and all her henchmen...

Probably you'll have the Black Mage card by then. I've been there for several (4-5) hours for 2 days on 2x Drop and only got.. 32.

Practice makes perfect. I can get through the JQ in 5 minutes easily. That maze is a whole different story though.

I found out the solution to the maze behind the JumpQuest. (The jumpquest is indeed very easy)
I figured out how the maze (Phantom rooms) works because after a while I thought there just HAS to be a solution to this it
cant be just random. So I've been trying out things for a couple of hours. And now I can finish the maze
within 20 seconds. I never tell anyone this to reduce the amount of people hunting for tonosama/emperor toad/castlellan.

Seriously, Kaede castle is by far my fav place in MS. (Hence my signature)

just push up randomly in the maze until you're in a map with nintos, then go in the middle. (there are a couple maps with nintos and only 1 exit though)

I know the secret! Perhaps I should tell everyone. It takes considerably less than 20 seconds.

I've heard the +2 seconds of invincibility bonus you can get on unique tops and overalls works for this jumpquest. I haven't tested this myself, but it's supposed to make the JQ a cakewalk. And getting a top/overall like that is a hell of a lot easier than getting 300 stars.

Or just learn how do do the JQ. Part 1 and 2 are cake. Part 3 is the only one that can take some time but it's just practice.

Ellinia JQs are still the most annoying ones for me.

@The maze: Like the other person said, just go in the middle door when you see nintos/jounins. There are 4 rooms of those and only 1 has the exit. Even if you go blind and completely random, shouldn't take more than 1 minute.

Doing it randomly takes me litteraly 30 minutes. I have horrible luck I guess...

I never realized people considered the maze to be so difficult. I only had trouble finding my way to the exit in the very last map since it looked almost identical to the other ninto maps.
