Maple story Freezes my PC. HELP!

I have recently Re downloaded/ Installed Maple story, Because i have updated to windows 7 and got a new hard-drive. Whenever i start maple story the screen instantly goes black. It freezes my whole PC and I cannot do anything. I have configured the game to run with windows 7 / everything else but this problem still happens. It is extremely bugging and I need some help.

My PC currently has 600 gb of free space and 4GB ram, 32 bit Quad cpu, Q6700 Windows 7 home premium Service pack 1.

My PC should be able to play Maple story very easily, As it is basically a gaming computer that i play Call of duty/ World of warcraft on etc.

Try updating your vid card drivers and DirectX.

How long do you let it run? I'm assuming it's the first time and you're running it into full screen. Maple takes 3-5 minutes and sometimes up to 10 minutes to start on windows 7 depending on how bogged down your system is. Update like the above mentioned and if it still doesn't work run the "setup" file in your maplestory folder. Then, just let it go for a bit after you start it and see if it works. After that I'd suggest changing the settings in game to run in windowed mode.

I let it run for about 5 minutes... But it actually freezes my whole pc. Like i cant alt tab or ctrl alt delete.... i cant do anything. And my video card and dirextX are Good. As i play FPS games and get 125 Frames per second easy. ( call of duty black ops, modern warfare 2, etc. ) And i will try the setup file. I have already re installed etc. more than once...


Ok i Ran the setup and i could see the screen in setup fine... But when i started maple story again it resulted in Freezing and me having to Restart my P.C ...

Did you try running it in Win7 administrator mode, with adding GameLaunching (mind the capitals) to a shortcut?

I tried that..... it still wont work D=

any other things that might work?
