Colored boxes in MS
#1
Well I recently noticed it isn't my comp, but probably MS. Everytime I have MS open, colored boxes will appear on my screen. I have a brand new LSD monitor + computer with fresh Windows 7 64bit in it.

Could it be a graphic card problem, that only occurs when playing games? MS is the only video game installed on this computer atm. If so, how do I update my drivers/find out which drivers are outdated (on windows 7, I suck at comps)

I'm going to say something really funny now:
You're plagued with colored boxes in maplestory on your brand new LSD monitor? Hehehe... Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

Anyway, back on topic, what graphics card is inside of your new PC? Nvidia? AMD (ATi)? Intel Graphics 3000HD (Intel Sandy Bridge IGP)?

To find out what graphics card / chip your PC uses:
- Left click on the windows desktop one time to set focus there (not on an icon, just on the background image)
- Press the Windows Flag Button (keep it pressed down) + tap R to launch the Run window, release Windows Flag Button
- Type: dxdiag + press ENTER
- Select the Display tab to see the info you need

- Post the info here Wink

This was what my attention was drawn to immediately as well.
