I'm surprised no one has commented on this yet. It's kinda sad to see how Freud and Afrein meet their end. I guess they were the first to try and fight the Black Magician, before Aran gave it a shot.

Indeed. Though it's cool how Afrein kept on living. Though I want more of the story XD

Finding all your friends dead, your land cursed, and fulfilling the last wishes of the citizens before they froze to death, or for many years. Closing the city entrances, and making it a forgotten land until now, when she wakes up. That's... New for MapleStory, indeeed. ;__;

Maple's story is progressively getting better every year -- evidenced by when classes like Dual Blade and the Resistance came, and the revelation that Cygnus isn't as benevolent as presumed.

It'd be cool if they changed some older stories to match the quality of the new ones.

Don't really understand the animated scene at all really, is it supposed to be Mercedes and Evan or the other guy? The hair and dragon throw me off completely.

For the animation,
It takes place in the past when the black magician invaded maple world.
Causing the five heros (Legends) to rose up against him.

The dragon master shown is Freed.

Can't wait to make one.
