Is the lag in pvp fixable?
#1
Is it a coding problem? Or is it just nexon's server and bandwidth problem?

I hope pvp isn't like this in the future... how do they expect ppl to pvp in such lag?

I think the delay between attacks is to keep it balanced, otherwise you could basically spam Cannon for example and corner someone who happens to be a melee class.

Just hope to find a group of people who lives in America and have great internet connection.

But then again, any random person living outside America could join in the room and cause unbelievable lag.

question, how do you guys see PVP? on my screen it takes a good 5~10 seconds for the skill to come out, people freeze midways, and i get hit by blast a screen away, it was bad in tespia, but bearable, this is much much worse (not unexpected though.)

The 5 seconds between pressing a button and casting is server lag, which I can only assume is from the fact that 90% of maple is trying to pvp all at once. It was virtually lagless in tespia, and for a hour or so after the servers first came up.

It'll get better in a few days when the strain on the pvp areas isn't nearly as large.

Yeah, when I logged in 10min after the login server became available, it was playable. Like, skills cast as soon as you used them. Now (about 4 hours later) it's really not.

Give it a day, and everybody will be so fed up with it nobody will want to PvP anymore.

More like a week or more. The lag is unbearable.

the problem is the volume of people. Nexon obviously didn't set up enough servers to handle the huge load of PvP. But if everybody stops because they're tired of the lag, the lag goes away.

The first hr, I had zero lag.
Now, it's completely unplayable

It was getting progressively worse, but I could still do it the last match I did. I'm at 3500/10000 BPs now. Could finish today if I push it, but maybe I'll take it easy with all this lag.

Is there a 10000BP limit, I was unaware of that.

No, I need 10000 BP to exchange for enough Emblems for my shoulderpad.
