This one is not a bad comment, he/she is actually saying the truth. The game and the tsunami have nothing to do with each other. The game was won by the players that were there.

Japan.
Truth is, if they lost, they still would of held their "We thank you for your support!" sign high because that's just the right thing to do.

IDK but something tells me that if a meteorite/asteroid hitted the middle east (one big enough to mostly only affect that region) and killed millions of people we would see this kind of reaction.

If a meteorite hit any part of the world except America, there would be comments like the ones above. Todays generation of teens and young adults in America tend to believe that bringing up one major conflict we have had with a foreign country that happened before their parents were even born is a great enough excuse to hate them.

All countries have its ups and downs, the US does have a lot of positive aspects along with its negative ones. You just have to choose which set of positives and negatives you want (though it's hard to have a good idea of those without living in a country for at least 1 year).
I say this having experienced long stays at 3 different countries.

Well, living in the States my entire life, it's safe to say it's just not the country for me.
Denmark and Japan, any more suggestions?

Anything scandinavian really. Some of the best educational systems and some of the happiest countries.
I'm obviously biased but the happiest countries thingy is a fact.

I love the fact the people who made Pearl Harbor comments were even born or anytime close to when Pearl Harbor happened.
...AND all this for sports? Really? "Let's wish destruction on the other team's nation just because we didn't win."

It sure would be swell if your schools weren't such failures and taught about the prosperous relationship between America and Japan for the last, what, 50 years?

Look at all of those stupid, ignorant asses. I bet they all live south of the Mason Dixon and their mother/father and husband/wife are the same person. I hate living here.
Surprised no comments for the fat white guy in the Oscar hat with the retarded hand sign.

Do you have non-anecdotal evidence to back up that claim?

I'm more optimistic of America.
Then again, I live in a really middle class, open-minded, area of the country.
