Is the Alcaster quest the only way to acquire large amounts of summon rocks?

I had this done Pre-BB on one of my characters but now it's making me do the quest again -_-

Buy a 1day hyper rock. It will make your life so much easier.
Also be prepared to spend a pretty penny for all the crystals you'll need.

Eh, I haven't got the NX to spend on a 1 day hyper rock. Also, don't you only need two of each? I've got tons.

YMMV but when I did 50-65 at Scarecrows right after BB I got a bunch of summoning rocks. obviously tedious but gets you levels on a nub character at the same time, less of a pain than "go to el nath now go to orbis now go to vic now go to el nath".
having the two of each crystal is no big deal, it's the travel between all the continents because maple hasn't invented modern communication.
