Because I'm really curious, since in the Jump patch they convert Dragonblood (25 weapon attack) or 35, I forgot to 60 STR.

Does anyone know how much STR is Equal to one weapon attack?

Sigh.
I'm sick of this question. It varies. It always has varied. The simplest way to put it without factoring other things would be to take your total weapon attack and divide it by your total stat. Something along the lines of: WeaponATT/Stat = Ratio. (Durr.. You'd think math would teach you ratios..)

Maybe someone should release simplified formulae so that people can plug and chug to find out the ratio for a given stat.

Just take the partial derivative with respect to whichever variable you want of the damage range formula: c*(4*STR+DEX)*weapon attack/100 = max damage range

Well, Locked is somewhat justified in his reply. The question placed cannot be answered because of the way the stats work. One point in weapon attack does not give a predetermined amount of damage to the player's range, and neither does one point in strength. In other words, no amount of strength is ever "equal" to one point of weapon attack.
If you need to know how much strength or weapon attack will affect your damage, here's the table from Fiel's formula thread that lists out the damage formulas:
Oh, and your base damage is found by multiplying your max damage by your weapon mastery/100. Weapon mastery can be found by adding your weapon's base mastery to the mastery added by your skills

Locked Wrote:Multipliers got changed. Oh, well I'm pretty sure the Sword, Axe, and Blunt Weapon multipliers should stay the same. As long as the OP doesn't want to find his damage with Spears or Pole Arms he should be fine.

Oh and OP is a DrK.

It seems I stand corrected on my earlier statement about Swords, Axes and Blunt Weapons, but at least I was partially correct! ![]() Also, if memory serves correctly, wasn't the Spear and Pole Arm multiplier changed to 1.49 or something like that? I can't be entirely sure since I haven't tested it yet.

White Wrote:A safe bet is approx 5str:1atk. Eh, maybe if you're dexless with really bad attack gear. 3:1 or 4:1 is more likely in decent level ranges. My Paladin has 227:840 or 262:840 depending if DS is on or not, making it 3.7:1 or 3.2:1. For most of the game my Paladin's ratio has been around 4:1, recently attack gear became easier to get (seriously I have 87 non-weapon atk now, and I'm not wearing anything chaos'd for attack, it's ridiculous)

polearm/spear multiplier is 1.49, i know this like my hand now. last time i checked, my str/attk ratio was something like 1/4~5

While the ratio is, for all practical purposes, w.att/str, it's a bit tricky to calculate.
Neither stat appears in your stat window, you must add them up yourself. For w.att, you must of course add up the w.att on all your gear, but don't forget Blessing, any other passive buffs that add w.att, and any buffs or potions you regularly train with. For STR, use your base str (appears on the left of the + sign) and then add any numerical +str lines from your gear and from your buffs/potions. Do not count %str bonuses. On the face of it, the change to Dragon's Blood lowers its damage bonus. However, it makes it possible for you to enjoy attack buffs from potions or party mates to the full. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
